Sky Trafficking — The Jensen Project
Sex traffickers recruit by messaging potential victims over social media in private chats. The Jensen Project, a Texas-based anti-trafficking fund, wanted to educate girls to recognize these tactics. So we exposed trafficker messages by displaying them in the most public place – the sky. We took real, commonly sent recruitment messages and used skywriting planes to plaster them across Dallas and Houston, TX – the two highest cities for sex trafficking in one of the worst offender states.
